About Us
Furever Acres is owned and operated solely by Lindsay and Cindy McConnell (husband and wife), with assistance from their daughter, Jenna. It is situated on 31 wooded acres with walking paths, and is conveniently located just off Route 8 in southern Butler County. We are at the end of a 1/4 mile private drive with no through traffic. Our property is also located within 200 yards of Twinbrook Animal Clinic for any unforeseen veterinary needs your dog may have during boarding.

Our combined animal experience includes knowledge in canine training and behavior and medical care.
Cindy has been training dogs for 11 years, and has owned and loved dogs all of her life. She is an avid agility competitor. She is also American Red Cross pet first-aid certified.
Lindsay has 5 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician which includes caring for the animals in the Vet's boarding facility.
Jenna also competes in agility, and has experience training dogs.
They share their home with 1 Rottweiler: Wendelin’s “Sandy” Dune; OA, OAJ, TDIA, CGC, TT; and 2 Pembroke Welsh Corgi’s: Rustics Spitfire “Nick”; MX, MXJ; and Rustics A Schoolboy Heart aka “Bud”, MJP, AXP, TDIA, CGC.
Cindy and Jenna regularly take their certified therapy dogs on visits to schools to teach children about dog safety, and to nursing homes to share the joy of dogs with patients. They have been active members of Butler Dog Training Association for the last 10 years, and involved in many club activities from shows, parades, therapy dogs, teaching classes, and educational events promoting responsible canine ownership. They have also devoted volunteer time to the canines at Butler County Humane Society.
